You are able to tell if a reservation is insured by RVshare Rental Insurance by looking in the Reservations section of your RVshare dashboard.
There are 4 status messages you may see for insurance on a reservation:
- Insured (in green)
- Insurance Pending (in yellow)
- Insurance Failure (in red)
- Send Insurance Quote (in blue)
If you see a green "Insured" status, this means the insurance payment has successfully processed and coverage has been activated.
If you see a yellow "Insurance Pending" status, this means that the insurance payment has not yet processed. This is either because the renter has not completed the renal agreement or the reservation is more than 30 days out. The earliest the insurance payment will process is 30 days before the reservation start date. If you are within this timeframe and are still getting this status, this means that the renter has not signed the digital Rental Agreement. The Rental Agreement must be signed for the insurance payment to process and the rental to be insured. Please encourage your renters to complete the Rental Agreement as soon as possible.
If you see a red "Insurance Failure" status, this means that the insurance payment attempted to process and failed. In the case of a payment failure, we will contact the renter with instructions on how to resubmit the payment.
If you see a blue “Send Insurance Quote” status, this means that this reservation was booked before you activated RVshare Rental Insurance. In order to add insurance to the reservation, you will need to click on the “Send Insurance Quote” button. Doing so will send the renter an insurance activation link (in their RVshare inbox). The renter will need to follow this link to activate coverage for the reservation.
