In order to file a claim through RVshare Rental Insurance, your rental must have been covered by RVshare Rental Insurance.
To file a claim through RVshare Rental Insurance, log into RVshare and click on the Rental Insurance tab. Once there, click on the blue “File Claim Online” button.
The reservations addendum number is necessary to complete the process. The addendum number is included in the insurance documentation you should have received via email prior the rental start date. If you aren’t sure what your addendum number is, or if you don’t think you received the email, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Clicking the “File Claim Online” button, will take you to the online claim center where you will be prompted to enter all the necessary information. You will get a confirmation notification after the claim has been successfully submitted.
After the claim is filed, both parties will be contacted within 2 business days by a claims adjuster. The adjuster will then ask for any additional information they may need, and the claims process will go from there.
Claims must be filed within 30 days of the rental end date. The Departure and Return Forms must be completed, signed, and dated within 72 hours of the rental end date and submitted to both RVshare and the insurance company during the claims process. Failure to do so could result in an increase to the RVshare Rental Insurance deductible or rejection of a reimbursement request.
Once the claim has been settled, we will use your security deposit as part of the insurance deductible, and process the remaining amount, if needed, to the card you have on file.
