Payments can be declined for a number of reasons, but the following are the most common, along with what you can do to correct it:
Not enough remaining balance on the card
While it may seem obvious, this is often the reason a card was declined. Please check your account to make sure there are more than enough funds available to make the payment.
Card information entered incorrectly
Mistakes can happen, especially when entering in a long card number. Please make sure your card details were entered correctly to ensure the payment can go through successfully.
Credit card company or bank blocks the transaction
If you are certain that there are enough funds and your card information has been entered correctly, then it is likely that the transaction was blocked by your credit card company or bank. This is typically due to the fact that they think the charge may be fraudulent, which can happen when making uncommon online payments.
All you’ll need to do is call your credit card company or bank and let them know that you are trying to process a payment to RVshare, LLC. By letting them know that the charge is authorized by you, they will be able to lift the restriction so the payment can go through.
Once you have investigated the issue using the above methods, let us know and we will try to reprocess your payment at that time.
Please Note: If your payment declined when trying to book your reservation, you will not need to reach out to us. Instead, you can simply try to book and pay for the reservation again through your RVshare account.
