To file a claim through RVshare Rental Insurance, log in to your RVshare account and click on the Rental Insurance tab, and then into the Claim Center. Once there, click on the blue “File Claim Online” button.
To file the claim, you will need your addendum number, which would have been included on the insurance addendum document you received via email when the insurance was paid for. If you aren’t sure what your addendum number is, or if you don’t think you received the email, please let us know and we can send that over to you.
Once you click the “File Claim Online” button, you will be taken to the insurance company’s website to submit the information to them. You will know that the claim has been filed successfully because you will get a confirmation notification after the claim has been submitted.
After you file the claim, the insurance company will reach out to both parties within 1-2 business days. The insurance company will then ask for any additional information they may need, and the claims process will go from there.
If a claim needs to be filed, please make sure to also submit the checkout form through your RVshare account to notify us that the security deposit needs to be withheld. We will use the security deposit as part of the insurance deductible, and process the remaining amount, if needed, after the claim has been settled.
