Every rental must have a completed digital rental agreement, which is automatically generated upon inquiry. These digital rental agreements are important for your protection, uniform customer experience, and our record keeping.
However, if the owner still wishes to use their paper agreement in addition to the digital agreement, they are more than welcome to, just as they can still have the renter sign any other forms that aid their process such as the Departure and Return forms. Just know that you must complete the digital rental agreement.
An example of what the digital rental agreement looks like is pasted below. Please note that your digital rental agreements will be unique on a rental by rental basis, as the rates, fees, and policies of each rental agreement are populated based on the parameters set for that specific rental.
If you have RVshare rental insurance on your reservation, or if you are renting a towable RV, then your specific rental agreement will include the appropriate language to note this.
Owners, renters, and us here at RVshare do not have the ability to edit any of the information in the Terms and Conditions of the agreement for the protection of all parties involved. The agreement was written by an attorney and the information included is legally binding.
The information in the Owner portion of the agreement is pulled directly from their account. If any of the information appears incorrectly, they will need to update the information in their account and let us know so we can regenerate the contract to repopulate with the updated information. If they have changed the information and it still appears incorrectly, then we may need to make changes to their rental insurance application. If this is the case, the owner can let us know which changes need made and we will get that updated for them as quickly as possible.
The information in the Renter portion of the agreement is pulled directly from your account, as well as from the information that is required to be entered when you sign the agreement. If the information is incorrect, you will either need to update the information in your account, or simply let us know and we can regenerate the contract in order for you to have the option to re-enter the information.
The information in the Charges and DISCLOSURES/POLICIES sections are pulled directly from the owner’s listing and the details agreed upon at the time of booking.
The Charges section will include the rental price and required fees that were charged, as well as a list of optional fees that may be charged after the reservation has ended. If this information is incorrect, please let us know and we can assist you in adjusting the reservation so that the correct fees appear.
The information in the DISCLOSURES/POLICIES section is pulled directly from the owner's listing, and RVshare does not have the ability to edit the information. So if you and owner agree on a rate that is not on their listing, the contract will not be able to display as such, since the information on their listing shows otherwise. If you and owner have agreed upon a different rate, you will simply need to make a note of it elsewhere to be sure that the correct charges are applied at the end of the rental.
